This Policy explains what personal data Collab Junction ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

Account data: name, email, phone, city, account type (creator or brand).
Profile data: username, bio, social handles, niches, follower range, languages, links.
Verification data: government-issued ID and/or business documents you upload for manual review.
Usage data: pages visited, listings posted, applications, and similar interactions for safety and product improvement.
2. How we use it
To operate the Platform, match creators with brands, manually verify identity and businesses, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to grievances, and comply with Indian law.
3. Legal basis
We process personal data based on your consent (provided at signup), to perform our contract with you, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Verification documents are accessible only to authorised admin staff. Profile data that you mark public is visible to other users. We may share data with service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, email) under appropriate confidentiality.
5. Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for safety, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Verification documents are retained no longer than necessary for the verification decision and audit trail.
6. Your rights

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, role-based access, and private storage for sensitive documents. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password.
8. Children
The Platform is not directed to users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
